Senior Center Bingo A Success

Bingo and Supper has a great turnout

If you weren't there Thursday night, you missed a great time. The Spaghetti and Hot Dogs were fantastic and Bingo was really enjoyed by all.

Lots of great products were given out from Oil Changes to beautiful flowers as well as Massages and meals. Thanks to all the wonderful businesses who domated the great gifts.


Bingo winners for October 16, were Joyce Baker, Dan Arnold, Eleanor Hodges, Sharon Snead and Jewel Williams. Congratulations to one and all.

Anytime anyone has anything that they would like to donate whether it be a prize to use for our nighttime internet bingo game, our twice weekly bingo or just something we might use for arts and crafts, please know that we appreciate all donations and will be glad to have them as well as pick them up. Our condolences to Ms. Rebecca Cotsenmayer on the loss of her mother, Reba McDugeld. Your loss is also our loss as well. Our love also goes out to Ms. Doris and Ms. Ollie who are still out and missed very much.

Spangler won a box of candy canes playing bingo game and decided instantly he would save it for his sister, Sue Spangler.

The Senior Center enjoyed a great fish lunch last week with fish and peanuts being provided by Ms. Adel Stubbs. Thank you so much Ms. Stubbs. A big thank you goes out to Lisa Gandy who provided us with over 11 baked good items for our Uk bingo night and Cake Walk. Keep up the good baking, Lisa.

Or Menu, which is subject to change, for this week is:

Monday: Sausage Patties and steamed cabbage, green limeys, corn muffins and pears.

Tuesday: Meatball stew, mixed vegetables, herded potatoes, brown rice and tropical fruit.

Wednesday: Lemon peppered chicken, squash and onions, Italian beans and oranges.

Thursday: Meatloaf and tomatoes, yams, mixed greens, wheat roll and fresh fruit.

Friday: Grilled chicken, BBQ beans, Cole slaw, lettuce and tomatoes, buns.
