William Hill Bingo Sees Pink

Tuesday, October 14, 2008

William Hill Bingo has vowed to help fight breast cancer by partnering with the Breast Cancer Care charity in October, including the launching of unique Pink Ribbon play bingo games.

It is always heartwarming to read about online bingo sites that give back to the greater community, and this week is no exception, with the news that William Hill Bingo is going all out to help in the fight against breast cancer. The site will be giving away loads of money to a favored charity and promoting October’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Traditionally, the majority of online bingo players are women, and William Hill Bingo is no exception. It is estimated that over 3000 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in October alone, and this bingo games site is trying to keep its players informed and cared for by partnering with Breast Cancer Care - an organization that helps counsel cancer sufferers.

During October, William Hill will be running special Pink Ribbon bingo games and 10% of the proceedings from these tickets will go directly to the charity. In addition, new players who register with the site until December, and wager 20 GBP in the first four weeks of joining, will have 10 GBP donated in their name to the charity. To ensure that the money is donated, players should register with the promo code ‘care’.

When the online bingo industry looks back to 2008, it will see a year of flourishing new sites, bigger than ever prizes, Uk bingo room revamps and statistics showing just how far this market has come in a relatively short space of time.

Jennie Prest, PR Manager for William Hill said: William Hill is delighted to be supporting Breast Cancer Care, especially for Breast Cancer Awareness Month when the terrific work that the charity does supporting people through a very difficult time should be appreciated. With our special pink ribbon tickets, every time a William Hill Bingo customer clicks to play, they will be helping raise vital funds for Breast Cancer Care to continue their essential work.
